Real Time Reaction
It took 2:59 for the Cards to beat the Braves by the score of 6 - 2 tonight at Busch Stadium. Except for the ninth inning when the pace of the game was interrupted by pitching changes, this contest had a rather nice pace. Our telecast got into a rhythm and we had a very clean show. I ended the show with a 2-box effect that had a game cut in the larger box and the Cardinals' manager in the smaller box. When the game ended this effect showed a real time reaction from the manager that I felt was quite effective. I plan on using this effect more during telecasts.
