The Shot of The Show
It took the Cardinals 2 hours and 48 minutes to defeat the Phillies tonight by the score of 5 - 0. The Cards capitalized on a rare 3 walk inning by Phil's starter Cliff Lee to score 4 runs in that inning. They also rode the 7-inning, 1 hit allowed by their starter Lance Lynn. This was a pretty uneventful game from a television standpoint. In fact, the best shot of the day was the first shot we used out of open billboards and the last shot of the telecast. The youngster who threw out the first pitch was great. His reaction after the pitch was priceless. After his reaction, he ran to his dad and received a big hug. The most memorable shot of the show.
