It took 3 hours and 3 minutes for the Mets to beat the Cards today at Citi Field today in New York. The final score was 4 - 1 and there were 11 total hits in the game. A dreadful game indeed. When televising a game of this sort, there is absolutely nothing the TV production team can do to liven things up. You just have to trudge along with the pace of the game and try to stay focused. Staying focused is difficult when the game is moving along like the players are hypnotized. Every at-bat seems the same. Every inning seems the same. When a game of this type ends, there is a sigh of relief from the crew.
