Off The Field

The Cardinals were victorious tonight in Anaheim. The 5 - 2 game took exactly 3 hours to play and there was very little drama. In fact, the highlight of our telecast happened off the field. For an inning and a half we had a guest in our booth. This guest was a former Cardinal and one of the most popular Cardinals of all-time. Our analyst tonight was a former teammate and their interaction was very entertaining. I am not taking anything away from the nice Redbirds victory tonight but the play on the field was not quite as entertaining as our guest in the booth. In fact, I believe our guest tonight would make a pretty darn good TV baseball analyst someday if he had the chance.
