Bizarre

The Cubs beat the Cards in 11 innings tonight at Wrigley Field. There were many exciting moments in this 3:55 game. This was a typical Cards/ Cubs Wrigley Field game. The place was electric, the players had that extra "something" going throughout the contest. There were homeruns, a pickoff at first base by the catcher, a player thrown out at home plate, a pitch up and in that may have broken a players hand. Managerial moves from both teams as each manager tried desperately to win the game. Great great fun!! This game did not deserve it's ending - a 2-out bases loaded walk. Bizarre how baseball sometimes works.
