A Spanking

In arguably the most important game of the 2013 season for both the Cardinals and Pirates, the Bucs spanked the Birds 9 - 2 in 2:51 at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. The score was 4 - 0 before there was an out in the bottom of the first inning. PNC was nearly sold out and there was an electric atmosphere in the ballpark. It felt a bit like Busch Stadium. I wish the game would have been better but this is not the Pirates team of old. This team not only is good, they believe they are good. They laid a good old fashioned whooping on the Redbirds tonight. The doubleheader tomorrow should be very interesting.
