The Grind

It took 2:58 for the Cardinals to beat the Dodgers 7 - 0 tonight at Dodger Stadium. This game/telecast made me realize how blessed I am. The Cardinals are consistently good. The grind of this profession, and believe me it is a grind, is so much more easily handled when the team being covered plays well. I spoke with my peers on the Dodgers side about this very fact and they agree wholeheartedly. When a team is not playing well the grind becomes very difficult. The Dodgers are not playing well and my buddies with the Dodgers are feeling the effects of "the grind". Off day again tomorrow because of Big Fox so I suppose there will be some hockey television in my future. Stanley Cup Hockey - a nice respite from the grind.
