Rained Out Before The Rain

At 7:15 tonight, the Busch Stadium grounds crew put the tarp on the field. It wasn't raining. At 7:50 tonight, the game was postponed. It wasn't raining. We signed off at 8:00 tonight. It wasn't raining. I live 37 miles north and west of the stadium. Twenty minutes into my drive home I ran into one of the most violent storms I have ever seen. I was driving 35 to 40 miles an hour in unbelievable rain, strong winds and nonstop lightening. At 8:30 the storm hit Busch Stadium. Great move by the Cardinals in their cancellation of the game tonight even though it wasn't raining.
